Plant-based mushroom “chicken wing” recipe

Our plant-based chicken wings recipe will have you drooling. You won't believe it’s a mushroom.
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup water
2 tbs vegan chicken salt or seasoning all purpose
Oyster mushrooms
½ cup flour
½ cup cornflakes (crushed)
1 tbs smoked paprika
Oil
Method:
- Add the flour, water and seasoning to a bowl then stir together until it’s a smooth consistency
- Add the oyster mushrooms to the bowl and, using a wooden spoon, coat then evenly with the mix
- To another dish, add flour, the crushed cornflakes, smoked paprika and seasoning then stir to combine evenly
- Then dredge each battered mushroom through the dry mix until evenly coated
- Shallow fry the mushrooms in hot oil until golden brown
- Remove mushrooms and drain on paper towels for a minute or two
- Serve on a wooden chopping board with your choice of dipping sauce
- Enjoy!
