Five pigs lay in a bed of thick straw

Changing minds on factory farming

News

Our team was on the streets of Sydney to meet people and help raise awareness around the issue of factory-farmed pig welfare. And there was a lot of consensus of the senses!

Watch the video and learn why parts of this industry are “on the nose”.

Pigs are amazingly intelligent, socially active animals. They need room to move and enriching materials like straw to allow them to behave as they naturally would. Factory farmed pigs simply don't have the space or enrichment they need.

That's why we're committed to ending cruel factory farming. One important step is raising awareness about the suffering involved so people choose to eat less meat and, if they do eat meat, they choose higher welfare options from pigs that haven't lived their lives in a cage.

Show this video to other animal lovers in your life to reveal the dark side of factory farming. Help us reduce demand for factory farming to give all pigs lives worth living. Because a better way is possible!

Factory farming

Factory farming does not just inflict unimaginable suffering on billions of animals, but the intensive and cruel methods also lead to the destruction of habitats and release climate-changing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.
